If you want to win trophies and medals you have to get to work. You are the one that has to lift weights if you do not want to be weak. Power-lifting is one way of lifting weights to help you get stronger.
Just remember, weights will not lift themselves and athletes who train work hard to learn how to lift and get stronger. Some athletes can lift more than their own body weight. Women athletes lift weights too so they can can get strong for sports. Their are events like the bench press, the squat, and clean.
Did you know that there is something greater than physical srength. You see God has us at his fingertips. We think we are strong, but what we really need to get strong is in the Bible. When we take God's word and we read the Bible and share it with our friends, then we are ready to go! Don't just treat your Bible as something that gets stuck in the corner. Read the Bible and make your brain stronger!
True strength comes from God our Lord. Let us not forget our Bible verse from Psalm 18:1, "I love you Lord, you are my strength."
